1. Can you introduce yourself ?
My name is Jalal Ayouch (@jalalouayouch). I am a naturopath specialized in dietetics and nutrition based in Casablanca (Morocco). I work as a sports Manager and Personal Trainer at @bfitclub.ma. I have been working as a Personal Trainer for almost 6 years now. I am very proud that I have got the opportunity to become the head teacher of the Physical Trainer course at @bfitacademy.ma in collaboration with PCA.
2. Why did you choose PCA for your education ?
Thanks to the collaboration between FitAcademy and PCA, I got to learn more about the different training methods which are proposed by PCA. I choose NASM because it is a complete training method, based on scientific studies that allows you to have the knowledge to coach anyone. I especially like the evaluation and postural analysis part.
3. What did the NASM accreditation bring you?
Honestly it changed my way of coaching and boosted my confidence. My clients feel that they are taken care of by a real professional. As a result the number of my clients has increased.
4. What is your specialization ?
Most of the customers that I choose to work with are sedentary people with postural issues, and the ones who suffer from overweight. The main goal of working with those people is to improve their health and their well-being in general.
5. What is the coolest exercise you like to do with your clients and why ?
It is the squat, being a poly-articular exercise. It is complimentary to sports and physical activities, and is ideal for building the whole lower part of the body as well as the lumbar and abdominal muscles. Also the over-head squat allows you to assess the overactive and underactive muscles.
6. What is the most fulfilling part in coaching others ?
Helping people reach their goals, especially people who suffer from neck or lumbar pain due to their poor posture.
7. What is your favorite quote ?
“Look for the flag, even if it is in China.”
